Cries In Vain formed in January 2006 as a band in need of a drummer, with Robbie and Dan on guitars and Ian on bass. The band is currently still looking for a drummer and is on the process of writing amazing riffs and solos with lyrics to complement them.
The name was thought of by Robbie and agreed between the Ian and Dan. It is the same title as a song already released by a certain band, but they thought it would make a good band name.
Because of their love for all kinds of metal, that is the path the band chose to follow. They began jamming together in robbie's empty bedroom but have now moved into a hall along Longfield Road in Dover to practice.
For the future they hope to play some big local venues and become well known and liked in the area.
